The A99-SFC2 is the Cisco ASR 9900 Series Second Generation Switch Fabric Card 2. It supports the ASR 9912 and ASR 9922 chassis, providing common sparing for these platforms. This switch fabric card is compatible with Cisco IOS XR Software Release 5.3.0 onwards. It is designed to deliver high performance and reliability with no single point of failure and supports N+1 redundancy.
