The AIR-CAB002-D8-R is a 2-foot (24-inch) breakout cable with a DART-8 connector on one end and eight RP-TNC jacks on the other end. It is used to connect external antennas with RP-TNC connectors to Cisco access points that support DART connectors, such as the Cisco Catalyst 9130AXE series. This cable facilitates the connection of multiple antenna ports from the access point to external antennas.

Key Features:
Length: 2 feet (24 inches)
Connector type: One DART-8 connector and eight RP-TNC jacks
Typical insertion loss: Approximately 2 dB at 2.4 GHz and 2.3 dB at 5.8 GHz
Used to connect external RP-TNC antennas to access points with DART connectors
Supports dual-band antenna connections (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
Compatible with Cisco Catalyst 9130AXE access points and other models with DART connectors

This cable is commonly used with various Cisco Aironet and Catalyst antennas that have RP-TNC connectors, enabling flexible antenna deployment and optimal wireless coverage. For example, antennas like AIR-ANT2544V4M-RS and AIR-ANT2566D4M-R connect to access points using the AIR-CAB002-D8-R cable. Additionally, the AIR-CAB002-D8-R cable is referenced in Cisco documentation for connecting smart antennas to the flexible radio on the Catalyst 9130AXE, allowing the access point to automatically configure antenna gain based on the connected antenna's EEPROM data.
