The ASR1000-RP2-RF is a professionally remanufactured Cisco ASR 1000 Series Route Processor 2, providing the control plane intelligence and system management for Cisco ASR 1001, 1002, 1004, 1006, and 1013 aggregation services routers. The RP2 delivers improved CPU and memory performance over the original RP1, supporting larger routing tables, more complex QoS policies, and advanced IOS-XE feature sets required by enterprise WAN core and service provider edge routing deployments. Dual RP2 configurations provide nonstop forwarding high availability.
