The Cisco NIM-1T-RF is a professionally remanufactured single-port serial WAN interface card designed for Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers requiring T1/E1 connectivity for legacy WAN circuits, point-to-point links, or Frame Relay networks. This hot-swappable network interface module provides one serial port with built-in T1 CSU/DSU functionality, supporting T1 (1.544 Mbps) and fractional T1 speeds. The integrated CSU/DSU eliminates the need for external equipment, reducing rack space and simplifying deployments. Smart serial interface supports multiple WAN protocols including PPP, HDLC, Frame Relay, and MLPPP for flexible connectivity options.

This remanufactured module has been thoroughly tested and certified to meet Cisco's quality standards. Each unit undergoes comprehensive testing including port functionality, CSU/DSU operation, protocol compatibility testing, loopback testing, thermal stress testing, and interoperability validation with ISR 4000 platforms. The module supports advanced features including QoS, encryption acceleration offload when used with security licenses, and flexible clocking modes. Compatible with ISR 4321, 4331, 4351, 4431, 4451, 4461 routers. Requires appropriate IOS XE software version. Front-accessible RJ-48C connector for easy installation.
