The Cisco NIM-2MFT-T1/E1 is a 4th-generation 2-port Multiflex Trunk (MFT) Voice and WAN Network Interface Module (NIM) designed for the Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4000). It provides two T1/E1 ports that can be configured for either voice or data applications, consolidating the functions of a WAN interface card (WIC), voice interface card (VIC), ISDN PRI, dial-access integration, and DSU/CSU into a single module. This makes it ideal for branch offices that need to connect T1 or E1 lines to the PSTN or a PBX while simultaneously carrying IP data traffic.
This remanufactured unit has been professionally inspected, tested, and restored to meet Cisco quality standards, delivering the same reliable performance as new. The module supports T1 (1.544 Mbps) and E1 (2.048 Mbps) interfaces with AMI/B8ZS line coding, ESF/D4 framing (T1), and HDB3/AMI (E1). It includes an onboard PVDM4 slot for voice DSP processing, enabling packet voice (H.323, SIP, MGCP, SCCP), ISDN PRI, CAS signaling, and drop-and-insert TDM multiplexing. Each port can be clocked from an independent clock source for data applications.
