The Cisco NIM-4MFT-T1/E1 is a 4th-generation 4-port Multiflex Trunk (MFT) Voice and WAN Network Interface Module (NIM) designed for the Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4000). It provides four T1/E1 ports that can be configured for voice or data applications, consolidating the functions of a WAN interface card (WIC), voice interface card (VIC), ISDN PRI, dial-access integration, and integrated DSU/CSU into a single module. This high-density module is ideal for branch offices requiring multiple simultaneous T1 or E1 connections to the PSTN, PBX systems, or WAN providers while carrying IP data traffic on the same platform.
This remanufactured unit has been professionally inspected, tested, and restored to meet Cisco quality standards, delivering the same reliable performance as new. Each port supports T1 (1.544 Mbps) or E1 (2.048 Mbps) interfaces with AMI/B8ZS line coding, ESF/D4 framing (T1), and HDB3/AMI (E1). The module features an onboard PVDM4 slot for voice DSP processing, enabling packet voice (H.323, SIP, MGCP, SCCP), ISDN PRI, CAS signaling, and drop-and-insert TDM multiplexing. Each port can be independently clocked for data applications; all voice ports share a single clock domain. Note: all four ports must be configured as the same type (all T1 or all E1).
