This module features port-side intake (PI) airflow, also referred to as front-to-back or reversed airflow, which draws cool air in from the port side of the switch and exhausts it out the rear. This airflow direction is ideal for hot-aisle/cold-aisle data center cooling configurations where cold air is supplied from the front of the rack. Compatible with select Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches including the Nexus 9336C-FX2 and Nexus 36180YC-R, this fan module ensures critical network equipment stays within safe operating temperatures for sustained performance.
