The UCSB-MLOM-40G-04 is the Cisco UCS VIC 1440 modular LAN on motherboard (mLOM) designed for Cisco UCS B-Series M5 and M6 Blade Servers. It is part of the Cisco UCS Virtual Interface Card 1400/14000 Series. This card provides 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and is intended for use specifically with the B-Series M5 and M6 servers.

It supports Cisco UCS Manager Release 2.2 (4) and later in standalone server mode.
The card is designed to enable a policy-based, stateless, agile server infrastructure with over 256 virtual interfaces.
It is compatible with Cisco UCS B-Series M5 and M6 Blade Servers, as well as C-Series M5 and M6 Rack Servers, X-Series M6 Servers, and S-Series M5 Storage Servers.
