The Cisco UCS VIC 1457 (UCSC-MLOM-C25Q-04) is a quad-port 10/25G SFP28 modular LAN on motherboard (mLOM) adapter designed for the M5 generation of Cisco UCS C-Series rack servers (C220 M5, C240 M5, and C240 SD M5). The card installs directly into the dedicated mLOM slot on the server motherboard without consuming a PCIe slot, providing 4 x 10/25 Gbps SFP28 ports for high-speed Ethernet and FCoE connectivity. It features a PCIe x16 Gen 3 host interface delivering up to 128 Gbps throughput.
The VIC 1457 enables a policy-based, stateless, agile server infrastructure by presenting PCIe-compliant interfaces to the host that can be dynamically configured as either NICs or HBAs without requiring SR-IOV support from the OS or hypervisor. It supports up to 256 dynamic virtual adapters and interfaces, making it ideal for dense virtualization environments. This remanufactured unit has been professionally inspected, tested, and restored to meet Cisco quality standards, delivering the same reliable performance as new.
Key Features:
• 4 x 10/25G SFP28 mLOM ports; PCIe x16 Gen 3 host interface (128 Gbps throughput)
• Supports 10/25 Gbps Ethernet and FCoE on the same adapter
• Installs in dedicated mLOM slot — does not consume a PCIe expansion slot
• Up to 256 dynamic virtual adapters configurable as NICs or HBAs without SR-IOV
• Hardware support for VXLAN, NVGRE, and SR-IOV virtualization offloads
• Deep integration with Cisco UCS Manager, Cisco Intersight, and CIMC
• Compatible with Cisco UCS C220 M5, C240 M5, and C240 SD M5 rack servers
This adapter is ideal for enterprise data centers running high-density virtualization, cloud computing, and bandwidth-intensive workloads on Cisco UCS C-Series M5 servers. By choosing remanufactured Cisco components, you are making an environmentally responsible decision while maintaining the enterprise-grade performance your infrastructure demands.
